1. The Entrance (Main Door)

The main entrance is the gateway for energy (Prana). The most auspicious directions for the main door are North, East, or North-East. Ensure the door is the largest in the house and opens inwards clockwise.

2. The Kitchen (Agni Kund)

The kitchen represents the element of fire. The ideal placement is the South-East corner of the house. If that is not possible, the North-West is the second-best option. Ensure the person cooking faces East.

3. The Master Bedroom

To ensure stability, peace, and good health for the head of the family, the master bedroom should be in the South-West corner. Sleep with your head pointing towards the South or East; never North, as it aligns with the earth's magnetic pull and causes disturbed sleep.

4. Bathrooms & Toilets

Toilets are areas for waste disposal and negative energy. They should strictly be placed in the West or North-West. Never construct a toilet in the North-East corner (Ishan Kona) or the center of the house (Brahmasthan).

5. The Pooja Room

The spiritual center of your home must be in the North-East corner. While praying, you should face East or North. Ensure the pooja room does not share a wall with a toilet.
